TAX TIME!
Trained AARP Volunteers will provide Income Tax preparation assistance at the Senior Center from February 1st until April 17th, 2012. For assistance, please call the senior Center at 429-1239 to schedule appointments. Appointments are available from 9:00am to 11:00am Monday through Friday.

CIRCUIT BREAKER!
The Senior Center will be providing individual assistance with the completion and electronic filing of Illinois Circuit Breaker IL-1363 forms. Assistance is available from 8:30am-3pm, Monday through Friday. Clients will be served on a first come, first serve basis. For more information, please call the Senior Center at 429-1239.

The Senior Center will host a Valentines Day Party on Thursday, February 9th will be special this year. Lunch will be spaghetti, garlic toast, salad and dessert. Tickets need to be purchased by February 8th and will be $5.00 for members and $6.00 for nonmembers.

The Decatur-Macon County Senior Center's goal is to enhance the quality of life for seniors through friendship, services, programs, activities, and advocacy.
Our Mission Statement: The Mission of the Decatur-Macon County Senior Center is to serve the Senior Citizens of Decatur/Macon County in a compassionate, caring manner that will promote increased independence, dignity, safety, physical, as well as, mental health. Activities, programs, services and advocacy are geared to meet the diversified needs of this population. Outreach and Information/Assistance are provided to guarantee that services are available and accessible. The Senior Center acts, on behalf of the Senior population, as advocates to assure that Senior needs and concerns are addressed.
To become the hub in the wheel of the senior's life that creates recognition and involvement of present and future generations.
