Wow!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Our annual Christmas Party was Amazing!  Wonderful food from Effingham IGA!  Wonderful stocking stuffers - even a peppermint mouse for everyone courtesy of Joan Meeder, Senior Center Board President!

The afternoon was highlighted by a performance by the Young Decatur Park Singers!  The Mount Zion Eagles 4-H helped to serve the lunch as well as Sue Scherer who is running for State Representative of the 96th district.  A huge thank you for all the folks who made this celebration a success!

Also,

DUT!

DUT stands for the Decatur Underground Theater!  The name may be "underground", but this music group is "UNDERSTATED"!  This group of singers have had musical productions including Jesus Christ Superstar and Miss Siagon.   We heard "There are Worse Things I Could Do" from Grease, sung by Kimberly Knaus.

James and Victoria Juan sang, "Don't Do Sadness" from Spring Awakening!

,

Victoria Juan and Josh Waddell sang "The Phantom of the Opera".

Melissa Kitchens sang "Hopelessy Devoted to You", from Grease.  The Decatur Underground Theater singers sounded AMAZING!  They were here to sing this past February 9th and sang for the Seniors.
