On the third Tuesday from 11am - 12noon - University of Illinois Extension is proud to present Marilyn Grayned and her presentations on Nutrition Education! She makes learning how to eat informative, fun and sometimes - tasty!
Dominos!
We now have a Dominos group playing Mondays at 1pm! They are playing games such as Mexican Train and Chicken Foot! Come join the fun!
Craft Class
On the fourth Tuesday, Craft Class meets! February 28th, 9-10am and Tuessday, March 27th, 9-10am, the class will be starting a new project of crocheting bracelets, necklaces and belts with jewelry thread using patterns! Come create exciting new pieces! Come one and come all! We are also using this time as a trouble shooting session for your projects!
Check out the TRIAD Class on the third Thursdays at 10:00am for some interesting information about issues concerning safety and seniors.
On Mondays you can spend some time during Talk Time at 10:30am.
Weekly -
Norma leads the fitness class Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00am - 11:00am. You can join in at any time and it is for all fitness levels!
Check out the Line Dancing that happens Mondays at 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Gloria can teach you some new steps or swing with the ones you know! Our Line Dancing Leader Gloria is still on break and will not be leading the Line Dancing at the Senior Center until further notice. Hopefully she will return soon to help us work off the holidays and show us those dance steps again!
Card playing! It happens Mondays at 1 pm, Tuesdays 9 am, and Thursdays 1pm.
Bunco! Bunco! Come throw the dice! Is it skill or is it luck? The fun begins on Wednesdays 1pm.
Would you like to learn how to use the computer? There are many exciting topics from "How Do You Turn This Thing On?" and Electronic Mail, to Surfing the Web I and II. Come also check out the new class Facebook! To see when Mindy from Cooperative Extension will be here to teach classes check out the side panel of this page. Pre-registration is necessary as seats are limited.
T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) has supportive meetings 7:30am-10am here on Tuesdays. T.O.P.S. is open to all ages! If you are interested in attending please give Linda a call 201-4599
B-I-N-G-O. BINGO! Bingo happens here on Tuesdays at 1pm and Fridays at 1pm. Various sponsors make the winning exciting and the people make the game fun!

Come check out the ever-changing items in the store during the hours of 9am-3pm, Monday - Friday! Due to the GREAT bargains in the Thrift Shop, we will be discontinuing the half price Wednesday - starting February 1st.
The first week of March, March 5-9th we will have a Winter Clearance - Bag Sale - all you can fit into a bag for one low price!
We are seeking volunteers to work in the Gift Shop. In addition, if you like to bake - we are looking for baked goodies to sell in our gift shop please call the Senior Center at 429-1239.
